I thought this was alright. I never really saw much in the way of advertising when it came out and I’ve never read the book(s), so I was kind of caught off-guard by the pace of it. For some reason I was expecting something slower, but it’s kind of like Labyrinth mixed with a dash of Assault on Precinct 13. With creatures that happily remind me of Critters.
I didn’t really buy into much of the character stuff or the emotion of the story, but it was a fun enough kid’s adventure anyway.
