I have to admit I found this pretty delightful. Movies like this, so very British and soft and charming, used to bug the hell out of me, but suddenly I find myself very into them. It’s all very small and human, even though it’s about one of the biggest stars the world has ever seen. And Michelle Williams is fantastic. I’ve seen her in so many things and yet for 90% of this film it never really entered my head that I was watching her; it really felt like I was watching Marilyn Monroe.
Not mindblowing or anything, but very nice and enjoyable.
